I read English Language & Literature and History of Art at The University of Birmingham and was a prize-winning finalist. With a scholarship award for further study, I wrote my MA thesis on neo-Platonism in Renaissance Literature. I have had a successful career in book publishing, including posts in marketing and management, with leading London publishers before starting my own company in 1990. For the past twelve years, I have been practising complementary medicine (homeopathy and counselling). I am currently developing a module on the Esoteric Body for the MA in Western Esotericism at The Exeter Centre for the Study of Esotericism (EXESESO at the University of Exeter.
